2026 Easter Concert - Slippery Rock

Celebrate Easter with "Acts - An Easter Musical Drama", presented by the ACTS (Adoring Christ Thru Song) Choir and Orchestra.

Set in the days following Christ’s resurrection, "Acts - An Easter Musical Drama" unfolds as believers gather secretly, much like the early church, to remember and proclaim what they witnessed. In the quiet darkness, their shared memories come alive as the story of the risen Christ and the birth of the Church is retold.

Through narration and choral and orchestral music, the audience is drawn into the powerful events that followed the resurrection including the coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost, Peter’s preaching, and the rapid growth of the Church.

The drama traces lives transformed through faith, including Paul’s conversion, the witness of Stephen, Lydia’s baptism, and the miraculous release of Paul and Silas from prison.

As the memories grow vivid and the joy intensifies, the gathering culminates in a unified confession of faith that Jesus Christ is Lord.
