What Are The Requirements For Joining ACTS Orchestra?
Joining ACTS Orchestra is simple! If you’re wondering what it takes, and are in the 7th grade or older, here’s what you need to know:

Whether you’ve been playing your whole life or have never played in an orchestra before, you’re welcome to join us for one concert season or as long as you'd like.
Requirements:

Attend at least 3 practices
Practices are held Sundays at 1:30 PM leading up to the concert. -
Bring $10 cash for music
(You’ll get it back when you return your music!) -
Be in 7th grade or older

Commit to both concerts if you have a special part (solo, duet, reading, etc.)

ACTS Orchestra is a Christ-centered, multi-age ensemble made up of musicians who are passionate about worship and community. From the bright tones of violins to the warm depth of violas, the beat of the drums, and the commanding brass to the rich resonance of cellos and basses, our orchestra and percussion blends in harmony to offer moving, spirit-filled music that exalts God. Each season, we prepare a concert that blends joyful praise, meaningful lyrics, and a spirit of unity. More than just a orchestra, ACTS is a family that performs, serves, and grows together in faith.
